This is not a new concept, idea or belief,

…and it is not confined to the metaphysical.

Almost from the beginning of time, there have been those who have appeared during every stage of man’s evolution, to teach, inspire and enlighten us with the reality of this statement.

Much of what we read today as seemingly new ideas actually stems from a group of people who banded together in the early 1900’s for a greater cause. A primary contributor was “The New Thought” magazine.

It houses articles and refers to books written by very respected and intelligent authors of that time period. The relative numbers of their readership would rival many of today’s most profitable blogs.

I especially found the work of Emma Wheeler Wilcox, “The Heart of New Thought”, to be devinely wriiten and inspiring.

I also found that much of their work stemmed from influences of time periods well before their own.

What I do believe is happening during our modern times is not so much a learning of new things, but rather an expansion.

 An expansion of consciousness that leads to a deeper understanding and application of these principles.

It is my intention to employ that deeper understanding in the simple act of creating a “vision board”.

It is my objective to get myself and others to quiet the “thinking mind” and get in touch with the creative intelligence that resides within each one of us.
